My Z06
I purchased the 2004 Z06 in July of '04. GM had great rebates and incentives so it was perfect timing. We had our original owner '81 that I parted with a month later. It was time to move on.
Driving the new Z06 was nothing new to me on HP. I also have a replica Cobra which is power-to-weight just about the same. However, the Z06 is a much better car to drive and handle. The longer wheelbase and wide stance gives it great characteristics on the road or track.
The only change to the car so far has benn the CAGS delete and a partition. I'm planning on new lights, lowering and an air intake system this year (2007). Other than that, it's pretty much stock.
I've had the car on the track several times. Each event was an improvement on what I can do with the car. I know I may never reach it's capabilities, but trying to get there is sure fun. I have some video on track located on my Video Page.
