Nothing to check just yet. A bunch of parts are on order and the re-build should start around March 1st. Trying to get ready for the open track season and get some testing and adjusting done.

I've been looking for a good street (turned track) SN95 Mustang to use as my main open track vehicle. It doesn't "replace" the Cobra, but will take a lot of hard use off it so I can still have some fun on and off the track. I plan to keep it a dual purpose vehicle, but will install a bunch of goodies to make it a pretty good track car. Alterations include, bigger Cobra/Mach I,Bullitt brakes all around, new Koni SA coil overs on all 4 corners, new "K" member and front suspension, front and rear tower braces, roll bar, harness and seats; just as a starter.

Brake parts came from Summit Racing and American Muscle (best pricing), wheels and tires came from Late Model Restoration and chassis parts came from Maximum Motorsports as well as the roll cage. Previous owner had already installed the caster/camber plates and full frame "subframe connectors" so I didn't need to deal with those. I'll be doing a full tune and fluid change along the way as well as anything else I come across.

I was able to find (locally) a 2002 Mustang GT in pretty good condition. First thing I had to do was get wider wheels and tires, install a new steering wheel and some minor clean up. I'm very happy with the purchase and the 2nd owner did a fair job of keeping it in shape. It doesn't have the horsepower the Cobra does, but it'll be a lot of fun to kick around on track.
